I think this is probably the best restaurant in Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. Every dish was so flavourful with well balanced spices and seasonings. The falafel was nice and crunch on the outside yet moist and soft on the inside - a perfect balance of texture - paired with a drizzle of tahini sauce. The lamb/beef gyro was so juicy, tender and full of flavours; definitely my favourite meat here. The rice was also another thing I loved here; it was moist and delicious. The chicken was also nicely spiced and the salad it came with was refreshing and well seasoned. The hummus was smooth and yummy too though a little too much oil drizzled on top for me. It did pair well with the pita. The host was also really nice and welcoming. The place was well organised and probably had one of the cleanest tables I have seen at restaurants.

I've only had one thing here and I'll keep getting it until I die because it is that dang good! The Gyro pita wrap is so delicious and large its a whole meal for about $13. Go here and get it because this restaurant knows food! I've been telling a few friends to go here now because they would be missing out otherwise. Thanks for existing in the desert!

This is a family owned restaurant. So, if you want kibbeh, call them to make sure they have some since it sells out quickly. I have tried the chicken plate, the lamb shawarma, kibbeh, chicken gyro, falafel, Greek salad, hummus, baklava and other stuff I can't remember. All has been pretty good. It can sometimes be a hit or miss depending on who is in the kitchen and at the cash register. The last time I was there, I ordered hummus and I got this large thing of hummus with one pita bread in the plastic, not good. It was a joke and if I had had time, I would have gone back to complain and get more pita bread. Oh, and the one he gave me was old and hard. So, that happened. I think it was a cousin cuz it wasn't the sons I usually see when I go there. I have recommended this place to a lot of people who tried it out and liked it. Most times I order to go, but the few times I ate there, the service was ok, nothing great. The guys seem very laid back and quiet. Some even seem like they are mad to be there at times. I laugh about it. I guess it's hard working with family. But even with that, the food is really good. If they make a mistake with food, they apologize and try to make things right. I would definitely recommend and continue to tell people to try it out since it's the only middle eastern food in yucca valley. But that's not to say that is the reason it is good. I eat a lot of middle eastern food in LA and this is definitely in my top five of restaurants. If they were in LA, they would be a top place to go for food. They would have to hire better servers though, ones who actually smile and are happy to be there or at least know how to fake it. Hahaha!

Food was amazing!! The guys working there were friendly but not too attentive. Super chill and casual dining. I'd come again if I'm back in town.
